Ship Shape opened on South Padre Island in 1994 with a simple promise: bring the best of coastal living to the people who love this island.

Three decades later, we're still American-owned, still family-run, and still the only shop on the island authorized to carry brands like Tommy Bahama, OluKai, Columbia PFG, Maui Jim, Hey Dude and the ever-elusive Lula B.

What hasn't changed is how we treat people who walk through our door. Diane, Liz, Susie and the team will sit you down, ask your size, bring out a dozen pairs of flip-flops and tell you the truth about which one will actually last the summer.
